Injection molding is one of the most popular processes for manufacturing thermoplastic, silicone or rubber components. The process is both cost-effective and highly repeatable and can produce a large number of high-quality parts, in which the prepared mold is inserted into the injection molding machine, and then the heated thermoplastic or liquefied raw materials are poured into the mold. After the material is solidified, the final part is ejected from the machine; the process can be repeated quickly.
Hot pressing is the process of heating a plastic sheet and using a mold to shape it into a specific shape. The hot-pressing equipment uses the mold as a model for manufacturing finished parts. According to the different hot pressing process, the staff need to pull or press the heated plastic material onto the mold, or press it on the mold by vacuum suction. Hot pressing is the most commonly used method of production and packaging, and can also be used to make durable finished parts.
The casting process requires the injection of molten metal or other liquefied materials into the mold. The molten material cools and hardens in the mold to form the desired product. Casting is commonly used in the manufacture of metal products as well as silica gel and plastic parts.
The compression molding process usually uses two heating moulds to compress the quantitative preheating forming material into the desired shape. Compression molding is usually regarded as an alternative to injection molding and used in relatively simple design and the production of low and medium production parts.
Blow molding is a technology similar to glass blowing. The blow molding machine blows air into heated tubular parts (usually made of plastic or glass) and clamps it in the mold. When blowing into the air, the pressure pushes the plastic out to match the shape of the mold. Blow molding is usually used to make hollow products such as bottles.
Composite lamination refers to assembling the composite material to the mold and using wet laying process, prepreg lamination or resin transfer molding to make the finished composite material from high performance materials such as carbon fiber, glass fiber and Kevlar synthetic fiber.
